If you want the clearest, most predictable fee
Flightright and AirHelp both state their fees consistently across their own pages — what you see is what you'll pay, even if AirHelp's rate is higher. Predictability has value of its own.
If your claim was already denied
Any of the full-service companies are built for this — that's specifically where their legal escalation earns the commission. Worth getting quotes from 2-3 before committing, since fee structures (especially EUclaim's and MYFLYRIGHT's tiered ones) can change your actual payout meaningfully.
If you'd rather not pay any commission
Our own
$10 DIY claim letter is built for straightforward, undisputed cases — you keep 100% of whatever the airline pays.
If you want to ask before committing
Given EUclaim's and MYFLYRIGHT's own pages don't fully agree with themselves, it's reasonable to email and ask "what exact percentage applies to my case" before signing anything — see our
fee-facts page for exactly what we found.
